A Memoir of Sorts

Starting with 1967 “Five Years Before and Five Years After Part 1,” it’s now nothing more than three chapters. Some of you have seen earlier drafts on my old blog. Regardless, these are still works in progress with more to come. Starting with 1967, I intend to revisit specific dates in the context of what was happening in the world over 10-year spans–five before, five after. Although I was 8, I don’t intend to go back further than 1957. Regardless, there was a whole lot going on that was way above the cognition of a grade schooler. After “1967”, it’s off to “1977”, and “1987” etc. I am trying to depict the greater world around me as I, and later my family, pass through. What was I doing? What were we doing? What was going on in my life as the bigger world just continued along its merry way? It’s intended to be a chaptered memoir with me being a bit player. It will be great for those of you with insomnia.
